The routine Posbindu PTM activity as part of the Healthy Campus series of activities launched by the Ministry of Health, was again held at the Diponegoro University Headquarters. Specifically during this period, in addition to being carried out according to the usual 5-table principle in collaboration with the Rowosari Community Health Center, a blood donation was also carried out in collaboration with the Semarang City Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). The target of this activity was all staff working at the Diponegoro University Headquarters. Held in the hallway of the Widya Puraya Building, precisely in front of the UNDIP Public Relations Room, the enthusiasm of the Posbindu participants featuring Blood Donation this time was very high.
Many are attracted by the comprehensive checkup at the UNDIP PTM Posbindu, which includes height, weight, and waist circumference measurements to determine Body Mass Index (BMI). This is followed by a blood test, which includes blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid levels. All of these tests, which are typically paid for at healthcare facilities, are free at the routine PTM Posbindu.
The hope is that the health of all Diponegoro University campus residents can be monitored regularly. If anyone’s health condition is poor or exceeds the minimum threshold, it can be addressed as early as possible, reducing the risk of emergencies.
