Managing a disaster such as a fire emergency response requires an understanding of disaster emergency response. Therefore, the Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Technical Implementation Unit (UPT K3L) of Diponegoro University held a fire emergency response training and outreach event in high-rise buildings. This event took place in the 5th floor of the ICT Center Building Hall of Diponegoro University on Wednesday, September 2, 2022. Employees from the ICT Center Building, including the LP2MP (Learning from the LPPM) office, the TC 1 office, and speakers from the Semarang City Fire Department and the Semarang City Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) were invited.
Learning from previous experiences, it is hoped that security personnel and employees will gain additional knowledge and insight regarding responding to workplace accidents. Therefore, prior training and outreach for fire emergency response activities in high-rise buildings will be conducted before conducting future simulations.
